AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES AMENDING CHAPTER 151 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN; REPEALING SAID CHAPTER 151 IN ITS ENTIRETY;  ADOPTING A NEW CHAPTER 151;  ADOPTING FLOOD HAZARD MAPS; DESIGNATING A FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATOR; ADOPTING PROCEDURES AND CRITERIA FOR DEVELOPMENT IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS; PROVIDING FOR DEFINITIONS;  ADOPTING LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL, INCUSION IN THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Pursuant to Section 286. 0105, FS, the Town hereby advises the public that:  If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Town Council with respect to any matter considered at its meeting or hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that for such purposes, affected persons may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  This notice does not constitute consent by the Town for the introduction or admission into evidence of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
